Please bring your laptop and have your music ready to work with.

You will receive free access to a DISCO demo. To get the most out of the workshop, please upload your music in advance.

12.00 - 13.00       Synchesizer: A live mock sync session

Bergen Street Food (Selskapsrommet)

What happens when several composers and songwriters are given the same brief to score the same scene? Synchesizer invites Vill Vill Vest artists to submit an existing track or create new music in response to a real sync brief, before international music supervisors present and discuss their selections alongside the film clip.

Together with the film’s director, they will explore what makes music work on screen and how different musical choices can transform a scene. The session is based on a scene from Bergenstoget plyndret i natt (The Bergen Line Robbery), directed by Gunnbjörg Gunnarsdottir and premiering in February 2027, and concludes with a rapid fire round where supervisors highlight additional tracks from the submitted catalogue and explain how they could imagine using them.

Panel:
Thore Garberg, Music supervisor, Orange Blue Supervision (Malmö)
Sue Crawshaw, Music supervisor, Pick And Mix Music (Bristol)
Milena Fessmann, Music supervisor, Cinesong (Berlin)
Rasmus Thord, Music supervisor, Solid Music Supervision (Stockholm)

14.30 - 15.30 Meet the supervisors

Bergen Street Food (Lesesalen)

Speed meetings between music supervisors/decision makers and rights holders.

Meet the people who connect music with film. Music supervisors source and license music across genres and formats for TV, film, advertising and more. For artists and rights holders, music placements are not only a source of income, they can also open doors to new audiences and become career defining possibilities.
Meet the Supervisors is a series of short, focused meetings bringing together music supervisors, film makers and rights holders, including composers, songwriters, music publishers, record labels and managers.

The speed meetings offer participants the opportunity to make new connections, introduce their work and explore potential collaborations across the music and film industry.

Applications must be submitted via this form‍ ‍(limited to 8 participants)

Spots will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. In case of high demand, priority will be given to participants representing the widest range of music catalogues and rights holders, ensuring that as many different rights holders and musical works as possible are represented at the speed meetings.
